Fostering a critical global mindset

Adopting a strong focus on global education across all areas of the curriculum, we have introduced P4C (Philosophy for Children) and Global Dimensions lessons for all of our students. These lessons are designed to foster a critical global mindset and develop understanding of international issues with a direct impact on the world.

Succeeding in a globalised world

Our global education is an interdisciplinary approach to learning skills necessary to succeed in an interconnected and multi-cultural world and research shows that students who learn about these issues from an early age are more likely to succeed in a globalised world.

Positive attitude to learning

A key priority for our teachers is to instil all our students with a positive attitude to learning. We do this by fostering a 'growth mindsets' across all areas of the curriculum and encouraging our students to adopt a ‘can do’ attitude, not be afraid to fail and to thrive in the face of a challenge.
