As you may know hundreds of thousands of students all over the world will go on a school strike for climate change March 15th (Friday). Whilst student organizers in Hong Kong are calling on students to gather in Charter Garden, Central at 11 am to join the (legal) student protest, our own HKILA Eco Warriors have suggested that ALL HKILA students go on strike from 11am to 12 noon to show their support of the course. Students are planning to gather in our G8 classroom, where they will listen to speeches from our Eco warriors, make signs and sing protest songs (they will obviously be supervised by teachers).
