Our students learned that Science can be delicious.
Thanks to George Washington Carver, the first African American Scientist, we learned about the layers of the soil, nutrient depletion in soil (due to cotton crops), as well as crop rotation to introduce nutrients back into the soil.
We also used George Washington Carvers’ ideas on alternate uses for an oversupply of produce and we made vegtable dye.
